Because of the strength of the color changing industry, temperature-sensitive color changing powder, a new material, is also more and more widely known by the people, and the wide range of application fields, therefore, the proportion of temperature-sensitive color changing powder in pigments is getting higher and higher.
So, how to judge the color change effect? What factors can affect the discoloration of color change powder? Today, Yisong Technology, which specializes in producing temperature-changing pigments (temperature-changing powder), will give you a brief introduction.
Thermochromic powder is a microencapsulated reversible thermochromic material, whose microcapsule particle size is 3-8 microns, which is called reversible thermochromic pigment (commonly known as temperature-changing pigment, temperature-sensitive powder or temperature-changing powder). It is prepared by the electronic transport type organic compound system. The electronic transport type organic compound is a kind of organic chromogenic system with special chemical structure. At a specific temperature, the molecular structure of the organic compound changes due to the electronic transport, and then the color change is completed. Generally speaking, the factors affecting the discoloration are as follows:
1. Temperature
Color-changing microcapsules have detailed characteristics of high temperature resistance, but if they are exposed to high temperature for a long time, it will damage the color-changing function of the color-changing pigment, resulting in poor color-changing effect, or even unchanged color. Therefore, the processing temperature should be controlled below 200 ℃, the zui height should not exceed 230 ℃, and the heating time of materials should be minimized.
2. Ultraviolet
The light-fastness of temperature-sensitive color change pigment is poor, and it will soon fade and lose efficacy when exposed to strong sunlight, so it is only suitable for indoor use. The exposure of strong sunlight and ultraviolet light should be avoided, which is conducive to extending the service life of color changing pigments.
3. Formula and increased share
Temperature-changing pigments can be used for injection molding and modulation of inks. Different formulations and increased shares will have different discoloration effects.
